Dudes I just watched the new episode of Metalocalypse and it was the most ridiculous, epic, awesome poo poo. I hadn't watched the show in such a long time but tonight's show was amazing. The entire episode is an operatic journey and it's totally worth your time

I know this isn't the stoner metal thread, but there's cover gold in that thar subset of metal. Buzzov*en - Don't Bring Me Down Weedeater - Gimme Back My Bullets Crowbar - Dreamweaver There's a cover of Can't You See? by Cable that I couldn't find on youtube that I love. That song just needed to sound more bitter if you ask me Also, I've never heard a metal cover of Thin Lizzy's Emerald that I didn't enjoy.

Finally getting around to listening to Serpents Unleashed, first time listening to Skeletonwitch since I'd heard they were a pretty unremarkable retroclone. But that main hook in "Burned From Bone" was pretty great, and then the song itself was practically power metal. The rest of the album isn't doing a ton for me, but "Blade on the Flesh" and "This Evil Embrace" are cool.
