It's like that episode of The Office where Gabe ineffectively tries to get everyone to stop making fun of Kevin only to become a target of ridicule himself, and then at the end in a desperate bid to retain a shred of dignity and acceptance among his peers he throws away his scruples and makes fun of Kevin in front of everyone only to be further mocked and rejected for doing it poorly. Only Gabe is GBS and making fun of Kevin is typing in all lower-case letters.

I've likened it to that movie, The Purge. Give the FYADers a couple days each year to poo poo post to their heart's content in GBS, and it reduces the overall poo poo posting the rest of the year dramatically.
