I liked it, but I have to say I hope this is the last time we see a Lethal Weapon movie joke. It's toeing the edge of tired.

Waltzing Along posted:That episode was so bad I kinda don't want to watch the show any more. I think I was mildly amused once or twice, but that's it. They can't all be gems. Half the comedy happened between the cuts. Like when Dee walks in the the evidence, and then they cut to Dennis taking credit and Dee out of the picture. You have to fill in the misogynist commentary and bird insults with your imagination.

My favorite hypothetical scene has to be the argument about the ethics of blackface that probably happened in the shower.

I was worried it was going to be self-indulgent, and it was. There's really nothing funny about watching characters make a bad movie itself. You can only make bad editing jokes so many times. What was funny about the Lethal Weapon 5 episode was them arguing about blackface like idiots and then the surprise of seeing it at the end. Also the first one was like 5 minutes long and this one was nearly the whole episode. Oh well. It's the only episode I've disliked this season. I'm still laughing about that ending. Frank turning their movie into a porno was great.

Far too many comedy shows have done the bad movie gimmick before, and this one really didn't add anything new except for the blackface stuff, and that wasn't all that great of a callback either. Ah well, for a show to go nine seasons and only have one genuinely bad episode is pretty loving amazing.

I straight up loved that episode. Mac being Danny Glover in blackface, all the manass, Frank eventually turning it into a full-penetration porn, and them switching characters were all the elements that turned this episode into a real homerun. Also, is there any news of there being a 10th season? I thought they said they were discussing it but hadn't come to any type of full-on decision yet.

I like that the Gang can shoot and edit an (almost) flawless movie but when it comes to making a commercial or other short film with their other one camera it completely falls apart Also, are we to understand that Frank was asked about and has over 40 million dollars? I mean we know he's rich but it's interesting seeing them put some sort of number on it.

They just get carried away when they're doing the shorter videos, and most of the time it seems Charlie has a hand in editing those.

I just saw Ender's Game today and won't spoil anything specific, but throughout the whole movie I felt like Ender's Game and Lethal Weapon 6 were very similar with the absurd amount of exposition. Mac would have loved it. However, I felt like Dennis, minus the sociopath thoughts and erection ability.

The cut to Dee at the wedding and Artemis with the beard and then her make-up running were the best parts for me. Thought the whole episode was fairly good though, despite having seen none of the Lethal Weapon films. Debating rectifying that, now.
