Can someone direct me towards some more of The Body's work? Besides the one posted on here earlier, youtube is only giving me one more hit.

Different styles but both good imo ( https://soundcloud.com/the-body-noise and http://www.metal-archives.com/band/view/id/51680 )

Yeah, sorry I was unclear - the first link contains a mix of both bands because Spotify is dumb sometimes

ChickenArise posted:Domovoyd is really, really good. There is a serious feeling of "poo poo is about to go bonkers" here in Portland in regards to the doom scene. Red Fang is definitely paving the way. There is also a dude here that takes old Sunn/Matamp/Whatev amp heads and rebuilds them into nightmarish warhorses of fuzz and tone. If you are looking for a one-of-a-kind doom machine, check out Hovercraft Amps.

Anybody else going to see St. Vitus at the Orange Peel in Asheville tomorrow night? It's the first show I've been to since I moved from PA two months ago, I'm stoked.

A while ago someone in here posted about Invasion, which turned out to be basically the best band and The Master Alchemist was an easy honorary AotY. But then they only had that one full-length plus a short EP, so everything was terrible for a while. Now the drummer and singer have a new band called Vodun going and it (predictably) rules so go listen to them. Video with ~2 minutes of intro, if you're into that sort of thing.

Sea Bastard have a new album out too, name your price on Bandcamp. Feels like a bit of a departure from their previous stuff with more drones and less shouting. Their other albums reminded me of Bongzilla or Iron Monkey, this is more like Monarch or Corrupted.
