I'd say they're about 20-25mm. Proportions are strange too, but they are smaller than 28mm.

I contacted Dragon Forge about it when I heard people were still missing prizes. He was on vacation at the time and promised to have it taken care of first thing he gets back. I've been re-compiling the list of everyone that won last year for him to check against to make sure everyone gets what they're missing and exactly what they ordered and I'll rush that off within the next 24 hours and see if I can get an update as well.

Chiming in as a bystander to say the cool Malifaux stuff you guys have been cranking out the last few months have turned me around on the system/minis. I thought they weren't to my taste, but some of you have been doing really incredible paint jobs that seem attainable with a little practice, and it really showcases how the bonkers setting has made for some really striking figures.

I would also still appreciate some danger.

Without Oathing I'd never have gotten my Malifaux stuff painted - and if it's not painted I won't play it. So this thread's been a huge motivator and opened a lot of doors for me. I'm really proud of how mine turned out, but voting for yourself is a dick move and

Malifaux vote: Schmetterling - I spent two weeks on that fucker in September and almost ran out of time to paint the rest of the Thunders. And yours looks better than mine and you SPEED PAINTED IT. Goddamn, dude. I was demonstrably pissed when you posted it like one day into October. Plus you got all the tails right and I personally know what a pile of bitch they are.

I, moths, oath for November fourteen Warlord Games Bolt Action French Soldiers and one WELLY toy truck.

The soldiers are 28mm, and the truck is probably close to 1:50. It's also spring-loaded so you can pull it back and it'll zoom across the floor. I'm hoping to run it as a conscripted civilian vehicle with the French WW2 guys.

I, NTRabbit, oath for November 3 Eldar Vyper Jetbikes for 40k by GW, and 4 Corporation Strikers, 4 Corporation Jacks, 2 Corporation Guards, 1 Referee and 1 Dreaded Ball for Dreadball by Mantic

The Dreadball team shall once again be a themed group, this time with another local sports team for colour inspiration.

One Guard and the Referee will be for the Jurnal, though you can only make out the luscious new greenstuff locks on the referee at this distance.

I'm also doing a conversion on the Vypers, and since I think i mucked it up last time, I'll put the preconversion picture both here and in my oath complete post for good measure

I'll also save the explanation for why until my oath complete post, but that's a heavy-weapon style Shuriken cannon that will have wave serpent weapon guards glued to the sides and metal to the top, so that it can attach to the magnet i'll be cutting room for underneath the hulls, on all three bikes.

Waiting for the go ahead, plan to speed paint the Referee

My Malifaux vote: Moths. There's a few mold lines visible, but I really like the way you've tied the crew together with the same colour tones. The greenish grey and greenish brown clothes make even the human models seem tied to the Nothing Beast. Everything's sorta desaturated, which suits a group from out of time.

Accepted!

Remember you don't have to wait for acceptance to get started painting, just go ahead and if there are any issues I might ask for another picture, but that shouldn't stop anyone from starting the painting.

Also, regarding the Speed Painting, you don't have to use your oath picture as the start of your speed painting time, just take a picture with time stamp before you start and another picture with timestamp when you're happy with your model.

No worries! Of course I'd big it up. I'm sure you have or can get approval to post it in the various game threads as well (Malifaux, WHFB, historicals), I'll drop a mention in the 40K thread because I think most people don't browse the forums, will miss the stickied threads and just go straight to their bookmarks (unless that's just me).

They are indeed Warhammer 40k models made by Games Workshop. Though like many Warhammer models you can elect to use them in either the core games of Fantasy/40K or their specialist counterparts Mordhiem/Necromunda.

Oh OK, cool.

There were a handful of Necromunda-specific models made at some point, and if these were those, I'd have to consult with krushgroove as to what exactly constitutes 40k eligibility again because I've forgotten what we decided last time. Fortunately I don't need to so yay.

The intent was that people might do one a month (I tried to get up to 12 one-time bonuses but ran out of good ideas), but you can blast them all out in a month if you want - the drawback is that doing this leaves you with nothing to add on down the road!
