I mean, the only possible reason they're promoting P3 so much is because of Trinity Souls 2, right?

There will be no Persona 5 game, just an anime. That's how anime.

There will be no male social links this time around. In fact, it will be a harem anime and for some reason you're the only boy at the school.

Nah, there has to be at least one token guy character who's like shy and awkward that's a foil to the MC and the other token guy character's who's your best friend and people will just ship them together. Or all three of them.

I'm playing through Nocturne and I just got my Wukong, how worth it are Attack All and Avenge on him? I already have Attack All on ghost rider (Seriously how I could I not make that), but Wukong gets hassohappa, which might be enough to cover for attack all physical move, and lets me dodge any phys immune/reflect enemies that show up with his regular attack. I'm not sure how often Avenge triggers either. Also, if I decide I want pierce on him later, is that possible by getting Pierce onto a Mitama (which would require a bit of a fusion chain but then I wouldn't have to level up a new wukong).

Yes, but it's really expensive. I had zero problems with money in the lategame until I decided to get three demons with Pierce, which wasn't even necessary for Normal mode, especially since my demons just cast buffs/healing while I worked the Freikugel magic. You'll also have to grind up to somewhere in the 90s to fuse the Metatron required to grant you access to the place where you can buy the Pierce demon. This scene in the trailer is what is bugging me. There was never a section in P3P (not sure if it's the case in P3 or FES) where they visited Ikutsuki in an office.

Man, considering that Persona 3 is near-plotless for a decent percent of the game, how are they going to pace that movie? Also yeah, super bummed that the superior protagonist isn't anywhere to be seen.

She could probably be brought back the same way SEES forgot everything about Tartarus and Shadows. Just have her show up and then they just remember her being everywhere as well. Make her the MC's sister and have everyone go "Oh yeah, there were two of them!" Flash up a few scenes where she's included with the others in P3's main events and you're good. No more explanation needed. At least she's included in the one menu in Persona 4 Golden

Oh, alright. That sounds better. Though I hope they don't try to cram the entirety of P3 into two movies, because the entire party isn't even formed till around half-way through the game, and it'd be awkward fitting the introductions of Aigis, Koromaru, Ken, and Shinji on top of the final battle with Nyx into a single movie. Four movies, with around 2-3 months of the game per movie, sounds a lot cleaner, and would fit the whole season motif.

I don't think there is enough plot in P3 to fit into 4 films unless they're really, really short. Hell two seems like overkill.

The problem with Persona 3 is that it's mostly filler. But when you cut out all that filler, you get that weird scenario of rapid-fire character introductions followed almost immediately by the end of the game, because pretty much nothing happens at all between these events, other than going to school for a month at a time without anything actually happening other than hanging out with old people and the foreign exchange student.

It's almost as if P3 as it is is structured and paced as if it were a 80 hour video game! If they wanted to do it "right", they should not try to beholden themselves to remaking the game scene for scene and change/remove/add what is needed to make a good story flow. If this means Ken and the dog get the axe or some shadows get combined, then oh well.

(P3 is my favorite, for real) I agree that they should change stuff around however they need to in order to make the story flow better. Purists will get mad that it's not a 1:1 adaptation, but if we get a better movie out of it, who cares. (No one axes Koromaru on my watch, though.)
