I really like Shin Mazinger Zero's art, it captures the style and energy of 70s manga while still looking modern and cool. Boss & co look particularly good, it's nice to see how they translate into different styles. There's some dodgy fanservice but thankfully nothing as bad as the 20 chapters of Rape Namek they dished out in their other manga, Wolf Guy.

EDIT: v The female lead of Wolf Guy got kidnapped and raped and the villain streamed it on the internet and taunted the hero into coming to save her. Already pretty hosed up, made infinitely moreso by the fact that throughout the entire arc the manga would cut to her for six-to-seven pages at a time, showing her getting raped in hentai level detail. Wait, so months ago when the guy posting these scans mentioned this being from the team that brought us "Highschool Teacher Gangbang on Namek," that was referencing an actual thing? I thought that was a joke. As for Zero, I want to like it. The art is good, and the action moments are good, but that Sayaka stuff is tough to read through. I really get the feeling that the writer is trying to emulate Devilman's, specifically the Amon rewrite of the end, tone in this volume, but even the  parts of that didn't make me feel like I shouldn't read this where other people might see me doing it.

Some guy interviewed Obari at a con recently, where he was there as part of something called Cardcaptor Vanguard. Apparently no-one really knew who he was, so he didn't get much attention and only this guy really interviewed him. Anyways, he asked some questions about the Obari Sword Pose, Pacific Rim, 3D animation and advice for mecha design if anyone's interested. Pic courtesy of /a/ apparently.
