I'm really only still "playing" insomuch as I have it idling in my browser. I reset maybe once a week or two now and it jacks up my chips a bunch. Might as well be ready for the next big update

I'm 6 condensers from 100, which will be my last upgrade, save for the one after the square triangle, whatever that one is. Then I reset again. Need those heavenly cookies!

I think I beat Cookie Clicker. +100 of everything, and I doubt that last mouse pointer upgrade (at 240 hands) is going to do much. All achievements too..I will cash out with like, 400 heavenly chips if I reset right now though.

Ramming people gets them very angry, bombing or rocketing planes feels fantastic, and there's only like five competent tournament teams. If you've read the thread though then you might have spoiled a lot of the surprise. Either way, its one of those things you play on the side or have running while doing something else.

Really? I'm at the point that I reset, cash in ~500 chips, and get back to all the upgrades, then repeat. The number of chips doesn't really get any higher, at what point are you resetting?

I reset at 10,000 chips exactly, quickly got up to 3.5 trillion CPS (unboosted), and at 2 days 1 hour I'm at 14,527 (total once I cash in next reset). Stop getting grandmatriarch upgrades after Exotic Nuts and while your CPS is a little lower, your total number of cookies baked will soar.

I guess I'll just keep on going and see if it improves. 10k chips sounds like fun. Anyway, I've lurked /r/CookieClicker on Reddit for a bit and just noticed Orteil actually posts on Reddit. Spending Heavenly Chips sounds like a bad idea. Something else you get at the same time would be better I think. Or just have all-time ones affect CPS.

I got to about 2,500 chips but then i had to take a three week work trip. I just left it running on my desktop at the office. Can't wait to see how fat those wrinklers are when I get back.

Man, I'm so over cookies (burn the heretic!) until Orteil rolls another significant update out. But that xkcd beachclicker game linked some pages back is really cool, once you kind of hurdle over the insane learning curve. I still don't understand everything, but I'm having fun min-maxing and managing different resources at once, working towards new boosts and tools to increase my income to insane levels.

The castle thing just goes so slowly. Clicking (at least until you have some insane upgrades?) is pretty useless, and you can come back after a weekend and have some thousands of castles that allow you to buy a couple tools and an upgrade maybe. Then you just wait some more.

Yeah, Sandcastle Builder is confusing until you get the hang of a couple things. One thing I had to struggle with initially was the units, especially "mNP" and what that means, so I'll try to explain it. Every half-hour, on the hour/half hour, the picture of the two stick figures will change to a new picture, or "Newpix." That event is called an "ONG" (it doesn't stand for anything, it's just like a GONG sound) and it activates all your Castle tools as well as some other things. "mNP" is "milli new pix" and it's 1/1000th of 30 minutes, or about 1.8 seconds. Eventually, around Newpix 240, the timer will take a full hour to change over. That's called Longpix, and the mNP length doubles, so everything takes twice as long. Also, keep an eye out for Redundakitties. They're the Golden Cookie of Sandcastle Builder. Cliking them will give you either a) a boost to your current Castles or b) "Blitzing" which is like Frenzy, it boosts your sand production for a certain amount of time (again measured in mNP.) I've gotten to Infinite Castles and Infinite Sand/mNP, so I can probably answer all the early-game questions you have
