Clay lived that extra bit so Sutter could troll the audience just one more time with 'shocking twits...er twists' Bam, HOLY poo poo, AMBUSH, but dammit Clay lives through it again...then oh ... Haven't they done this every season finale ..."Oh no, Boss Hogg has them Duke boys in one heck of a pickle, I suuure hope they can get out of it.." Them bam, they jump the General Lee over a gorge and pull out the end of some plan that only makes real sense if you are trying to fool an audience, not anyone who was supposed to be involved in the plan itself. When they did this same stuff on 'The Shield' it was pulled off about a billion times better. The thing that irks me, is that Jax's goals are: Clay Dead, Galen Dead, Club out of guns, and Irish not gunning for them. It seems to me that all of these things could have been accomplished about sixteen bullshit jumps ago, considering how it played out. Let Clay get killed in prison, shoot Galen in the face...get Connor on your side in the same way that it was done....same result, just five months earlier...
