Claiming for Speed Painting! I was painting two of the same model in my oath, so I put them both in the start photo to prove I wasn't playing switcharoos, but only painted one for the speed paint challenge. This after I speed painted my referee, got distracted, and forgot to take a timestamped complete photo until 5 minutes after my deadline Also, I really like how the camera makes each and every part of it look terrible

Whoever painted two of those catapults last month is a masochist; what a horrible model to paint. Too many goddamn rivets. Thanks! I tried to convert the model into a Fist of the North Star-like jump-kick but GW orcs are so wildly out of proportion that it was impossible. Not to say that Kenshiro is particularly in proportion, either... Since it's only the 19th, I Gotta do this bonus style and add on this GW Snotling Pump Wagon. It's been sitting on my desk for months, primed and ready to go. If I remember right I'm supposed to edit this into my original oath post too.

I can see what the original model looked like, and your "after" photo shows me your conversion work. Same with my Stegadon. Direwolf posted:Haha I'm not sure i have WiP pictures but I do have a 10 minute video of the conversion process I could post! In your Oath Complete post, put in a stock photo (ideally unpainted) of the central or main model(s) you used, plus the first of the above photos, and I'll credit you for your conversion. The stock photo can come from GW or whatever, that'll be fine. Under 15 posted:Thanks! Keep in mind I just took away your Oath Complete points; you now must complete this and post a new Oath Complete post when you're done. There's no need to edit the above into your original oath post, guys like Red Shoe have me pasting three or four URLs into my Oath cells every month.

Ugh, I hate following something so well done! Oath Complete! (going for jurnal, fly your flag, box art and in battle, bolded below). 10 Tactical Ultramarines: I'd like to think I managed to match the box art (http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?prodId=prod2160142a): Sgt. Optio is rocking his movember porn 'stash and flying his flag: Two of my three favorite models (I love the pose on Brother Knife-fight and the special weapons guy has some of the less frustrating highlighting I've done so far): And now, I'd like to tell the story of the third tactical squad In Battle vs the Geno-marines: : Sergeant! This battlefield... it is only grey! : Relax brother, soon we shall see battle! : Sergeant! Renegades ahead in that forest... that grey forest. : Marines, disembark! For the Emperor! : The path is grey. The path is grey. : Heresy! A hard fought victory in this, the blandest of battles... drgnvale fucked around with this message at 19:20 on Nov 21, 2013 |

I, Tadhg, swear an Oath to paint 3 Treekin and 1 Treeman for the month of November. They are both from GW's Warhammer Fantasy line. Also, moments after the picture, the Treeman slipped off the box I was holding and this happened: I could have sworn that I pinned all my metal models. He may have been one of the secondhand treemen that I've picked up. I'm putting this fucker back together with JB Weld this time.
