I just could have sworn during the last Ultimates arc that Ben was fighting Reed and the latter used the Infinity Gauntlet to turn him back into his rock form as a "gently caress you".

Possibly, but I stopped reading Ultimates. But like I said, he was drawn as human in another issue.

They're separate. Dungeons and Dragons was an IDW comic by John Rogers, Rat Queens is an Image comic by Kurtis Wiebe.

From what I've seen of that D&D comic it's along those lines.
