Just re-watched the old episode where Leslie throws a dinner party to impress her fancy Indianapolis boyfriend and all the rec center teachers come over. The guy who demands to demonstrate his accounting software class is the same accounting nerd who is super in love with Ben! I love that guy.

I think that's one thing about this season, Ann and Andy have been absent and that throws off the dynamic. But it does mean we get CRAZY Craig. OK. I need to lie down. For 45 minutes. NO. AN HOUR. Vulture just posted an oral history of the Cones of Dunshire. They want to have a playable game ready for GenCon next year and are going to try and get Adam Scott and maybe more of the cast there to play it. Looks like it's time to start saving up to go to GenCon.

I was already planning to be at GenCon this year anyway; an actual Cones of Dunshire event just solidified that plan. Amazing!

Does anyone happen to have a link to the old threads? (first 4 seasons would be awesome). I'm not having much luck searching. I'd seen a couple of episodes of this here and there and enjoyed it, so I grabbed the first 3 seasons on DVD. It's absolutely excellent. I didn't think season 1 was that poor (although Leslie wasn't a very good character) but it did pick up incredibly well. It's a brilliant show and it's very warm and optimistic which is refreshing.

There's a 19 minute retrospective piece for the first 100 episodes on Buzzfeed (and apparently only on Buzzfeed?). I'm only 30 seconds in right now, but that's enough to let you know that there's a singing and dancing Perd Hapley:

I'm probably late to the party, but I was watching Deadwood for the first time, and it took me a while to catch Nick Offerman....and during this catch, I discovered that he was in Sin City via IMDB. What the gently caress was he in Sin City!?? Wow. Never in a million years would I have ever got that. Even while watching the movie.
