Just re-watched the old episode where Leslie throws a dinner party to impress her fancy Indianapolis boyfriend and all the rec center teachers come over. The guy who demands to demonstrate his accounting software class is the same accounting nerd who is super in love with Ben!

I love that guy.

The library is the worst bunch of people assembled in history. They're mean, conniving, rude and extremely well read which makes them very dangerous.

I've missed Andy this season, so I was quite pumped to see him in Filibuster. I think that's one thing about this season, Ann and Andy have been absent and that throws off the dynamic. But it does mean we get CRAZY Craig. OK. I need to lie down. For 45 minutes. NO. AN HOUR.

EDIT: I NEED TO LIE DOWN FOR A FULL HOUR

Vulture just posted an oral history of the Cones of Dunshire. They want to have a playable game ready for GenCon next year and are going to try and get Adam Scott and maybe more of the cast there to play it.

Looks like it's time to start saving up to go to GenCon.

Man I though this meant they were trying to actually make the game a real thing people can buy. It looks like it's more just the having a playable version at this con

Does anyone happen to have a link to the old threads? (first 4 seasons would be awesome). I'm not having much luck searching.

I'd seen a couple of episodes of this here and there and enjoyed it, so I grabbed the first 3 seasons on DVD. It's absolutely excellent. I didn't think season 1 was that poor (although Leslie wasn't a very good character) but it did pick up incredibly well. It's a brilliant show and it's very warm and optimistic which is refreshing.

There's a 19 minute retrospective piece for the first 100 episodes on Buzzfeed (and apparently only on Buzzfeed?). I'm only 30 seconds in right now, but that's enough to let you know that there's a singing and dancing Perd Hapley:

Do you use Firefox?

The following is taken from an old Daily Show thread:
1. Download Firefox
2. Download the Modify Headers Add-on
3. Once it is completed enter the modify headers options screen
4. Go to "Select option" and choose "Add"
5. Title the Header "X-Forwarded-For"
6. Assign the value to 12.13.14.15
7. Make sure it is enabled

It won't work on Hulu and certain sites, but it will trick Comedy Central and NBC into thinking you're in the US. (I'm British. Getting to watch P&R and Community in sweet HD and give pageviews on the official site is nice!)

For me it's already showing signs of winding down - any longer and I think it will loose a lot of the magic/harm the shows memory.
