Does anyone else find that the app drawer in Action Launcher is a little jerky to open up? It's like it has a bit of hesitation half way through the slide open animation. I thought it was my old Galaxy Nexus, but it's doing the same on my new Moto X.

It's fine on my S3 while opening, but very stuttery when closing. Although, when I was using the 1-Swipe feature I seem to remember it being slower to open.

If anyone cares, Appgratis has an ad-free version of Car Dashdroid for free today. Pretty decent app from what I've seen so far.

Is it just me or has Google step-by-step voiced navigation been lacking recently. Instead of saying, "Take a slight right on 6th ave" it now says, "Take a slight right". What happened to the detail and is there a fix to this / alternative navigation app?

Working great on my MAXX, but it only does white, so on phones with white battery bars it only really works at lower battery levels. FTR, this isn't working for my on my HTC One. I suspect it only works on 4.4 devices that use the stock Android battery percentage meter.

Edit: For the record, I didn't have any real hopes it would work, just wondering IF it did, what it would look like, since the battery meter in Sense is horizontal, not vertical. But it isn't white, so the numbers would at least be readable...other than the formatting issue of said horizontal battery bar.

I've got a Galaxy Nexus as a dedicated Play Music thing connected to my receiver. Is there an app that will do a screensaver with album art or something so I don't burn the Play Music UI in to the screen? Of course, I could set the screen to turn off, but I want to make it as easy as possible for someone to walk by and change the track as well as making it readily apparent that it's not someone's phone just sitting on the entertainment center, but is the music player.

If so, I would pickup a chromecast as it does exactly that. After 30 seconds it goes to a small view of the album art and album information that moves around the screen.

A few questions: 1. Are there any car docks out there that are compatible with a Droid Maxx Otterbox Defender? My search of their site and the usual e-shopping sites as well as Google are yielding nothing. drat the Droid Razr Maxx and all its overlapping results! 2. Is there an app that will send phone calls through my PC when my phone is plugged in via USB? When I'm at home I usually have my nice comfy headset on and it would be pretty nice. 3. I'm finally starting to use Tasker. Is there a way to get it to recognize multiple states as criteria for for a profile? E.g., "When not on Derek's home wifi and Not plugged in" --> Tasks.

I think their design for it is to be simple and quick, for those times you just need to jot something down. if you want a deeper notebook app, you can try Evernote or OneNote, both are extremely mature and excellent platforms.

I believe AKOP or Paranoid Android has that functionality. You could probably modify your build.prop file to tell the OS you were a tablet, but there's not an app I know of that can do it on the fly.
