Just name the kid "Tali". You're still nerdy, but why make it many times weirder for them by sticking the "Zorah" on there?

Edit: Scratch that, they shoulda went whole hog and named the kid "Tali'Zorah vas Normandy". That surely would've made roll call on the first day of school fun for her.

Well, you see Tali, we decided we value our temporary attachment to a sci-fi property more than your social comfort. We are emotional children.

Why not have Zorah as the middle name? Tali Zorah (Last Name)? I know Tali can be an actual name; I think there is a character in NCIS whose name is Tali.

Someone already mentioned this but she's going to encounter so much systemic racism when future prospective employers start tossing her resume into the trash for having a middle-eastern sounding name.

Actually, what is wrong with the name Tali? It is not one of the usual Sarah/Julia whatever names, but I don't think that the name is too unusual.

Don't name your kids anything, your kids can be john and jane and stop, just stop loving naming your kids anything at all.

Some bulles are going to give that stupid loving kid a suit rupture on her first day.

Release my children! My hat is truly great and mighty.

Naming your daughter Tali'Zorah is a bit like, say, mum and dad Vakarian naming their son "Gary".

EDIT: Though I can't think of any particular fictional characters named Gary right now.

The main problem isn't that they named her Tali. It's that they named her Tali'Zorah.

It's not a proper quarian name without the apostrophe. I guess you don't go half way if you're naming your daughter after a video game space gypsy.

It won't sound so middle eastern if they put in the "vas [lastname]", then it'll sound Germany and no one has problems with Germans.

Are Overlord/Kasumi/Omega worth it? I'll only have enough points left to buy appearance packs and more guns if I get the two DLC.

I don't know about Omega but Overlord and Kasumi are pretty good, though Kasumi is "only" a single, rather short (but unique and fun) mission, and of course an additional squadmate, but it's not like ME2 is lacking in those. Aside from LotSB, Overlord and Kasumi, Arrival is the only other ME2 DLC that has actual (and in my opinion, pretty good) story content with one of the best set pieces in the entire trilogy and is good for a couple of hours of playtime.

Most bang for your buck is definitely LotSB and Overlord though, those are absolutely must-haves.

Sorry I meant to say I hope that the police use maximum force and kill or maim a bunch of innocent people, thus paving a way for a proletarian uprising and socialist utopia

also here's a stupid take
---------------------------->
Overlord has a really neat concept and conclusion but only like one or two conversations in it and I'd say it doesn't have any real replay value to speak of. It has a ton of vehicle sections and combat segments however, if that's all you're in for.

The music is pretty badass. The Geth ship and final battle were standout awesome sections to play though too.

Honestly, all the ME2 mission DLC is worth it. Bioware seems to do smaller self-contained stories really well.

Are you a pack of imbeciles!?

Kasumi is an amazing party member and you also get a sweet SMG. Also, Kasumi comments on like every other mission in the game pretty much if you speak to her in her room, and some other stuff besides.

Kasumi was basically the prototype of how crewmate conversations work in ME3. Almost always a new comment after missions, though it's not a full dialogue tree, just one or a few sentences.
