What would you even offer a team for a guy they spent their 1st and 2nd round picks on just one year after he was drafted? Wait poo poo that applies to Trent Richardson too doesn't it?

Bridgewater. He's the most teachable by a mile.

If both Matthews and Clowney are gone at six I could see Atlanta possibly trading down with a qb needy team. Then again I also see them giving away the rest of their picks to go up to get Clowney so who knows.

If the Falcons want to give away another draft for Clowney I wouldn't mind the Texans taking their first, second, and next year's first One of Bridgewater, Manziel, Bortles, Barr or Mack would still be there at 6 (Yes I realize I'm asking for way too much)

Quest For Glory II posted:Next week's Senior Bowl QBs: Yeah that makes sense. But it's good they mixed it up like that. South Squad has a lot of pocket passers that are trying to show off their arm strength while the North Squad has three tuck and runners that are trying to show off their mechanics. Boyd should tear it up against defenses like this as should Thomas. Morris will be in trouble because coaches for these teams always make their safeties play incredibly far back. East/West Shrine Bowl QBs are: East Jimmy Garoppolo Jeff Mathews Jordan Lynch West Keith Wenning Tommy Rees Keith Price East has some names to watch and Wenning outplayed Lynch in their matchup so that could shake up the day 3 picks.

You gotta look at this from the prospects perspective. He was a proven starter at arguably the best football college in America for four years. He's probably got a ton of people telling him he's for sure a first rounder and that teams would be crazy to pass on him. Ryan Tannehill proved to me that CFB athletes probably don't view the NFL like we do. He didn't even know most of the teams in the NFL or the division they played in.

On the other hand Google exists. It wouldn't take much clicking to find out that the general perception of McCarron's stock is really very not good.

Intruder posted:Counter counterpoint, he was the first QB taken in one of the worst QB drafts probably ever Counter counter counterpoint, EJ Manuel was actually quite good coming out and his game tape looked a hell of a lot better than Geno Smith's. He's also an incredibly underrated athlete as he beat or came in second to Geno on pretty much every drill. AJ also has a real chance at the first round because we've only just began the process. Not attending the senior bowl does not have as much of an impact on a prospect as you all may think it does.
