My mind can't quite comprehend that, it's like a non-Euclidean guitar or something.

I just had something arrive from eBay and this dude's card was paper-clipped to the invoice. I don't know if it's the mic used in the video, but it sounds really thin, especially considering he sells these for nearly $8,000. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lIuQhsTG2Pw

Also $8000???? For that much money it should have a little robot hand that jerks you off as you play it. Edit: He's wearing sunglasses indoors. The only drawback is you're stuck with friction tuners and no fine tuners on your bridge - nothing a lot of peg dope can't fix, though.

Reverand Willy's guitars have a kitsch charm attached to them because Billy Gibbons always comes across as that badass distant Uncle you had as a kid. All his poo poo was ridiculous but he could make magic with it.

My first bass was a red Kramer 8000 Focus and I, as a early-2000s teen, thought it was fugly. It also played pretty horribly, but I never had it properly set up, so that could have been why. I got it very used at a tiny local used guitar shop. I'm not sure if this is actually an ugly guitar, cuz now I think it looks kinda rad... but I've spent so many years reflexively remembering this thing as hideous that it's still the first ugly guitar that comes to mind. Not my pics, but it looked like this:

Who can forget the majesty of Zachary Guitars-- with 'tone holes' and the 'samurai headstock'quote:Anyone can buy a Zachary Guitar, however you need to follow the procedure to qualify. Its very simple actually. You need to send me a video of yourself playing the guitar. Just a simple video of you sitting in a chair playing. Sound quality is of no concern. I will then forward this video to the Z Committee - the inner circle - (a group of dedicated Z guitar owners), who will decide whether or not a Z guitar is right for you or if you even need a Zachary Guitar. See if you qualify for one of these beauts:

I'm of two minds about the star chamber of guitar purchasing. If they're saying you can't have one of these guitars because you can't wail out on these hawt lixx and killer riffz like doc faust, then gently caress them. If they're saying you can't buy one because your playing is going to be boring and pedantic, then I can kinda see it. I'd be tempted to send in a video where I barely touch the guitar, but do a shitload of knob-fiddling and effects-based "space" as the Dead might call it.
