http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Street_dogs_in_Moscow One technique a pack uses involves deploying its smaller, cuter members, having realized that these dogs have more success begging food from people.[3] Another technique some dogs have for getting food is to sneak up behind a person who is holding some. The dog will then bark, which sometimes startles the human enough to drop it. The dogs have learned to cross the street with pedestrians and have been observed obeying traffic lights.[2] Since dogs have dichromatic vision, researchers theorize that the dogs recognize other cues, such as the shapes or positions of the changing signals. The dogs have become adept at intuiting the psychology of individual humans in order to determine which techniques will work best on whom. Dogs who locate themselves in high traffic areas realize that in such places they often won't need to make any effort to procure food, as pedestrians will simply toss it as they pass by.

"We have surveillance video from the hotels that shows people turn on the shower, direct the nozzle at the wall and then leave the room for the whole day," Dmitry Kozak, the deputy prime minister who oversaw Russia's Olympic prep, told the Journal. A spokesperson for Kozak later denied that hotel rooms or bathrooms in Sochi have surveillance cameras, according to the Journal. The spokesperson said Kozak was likely referring to surveillance done at hotel sites during construction.

Human Rights Watch posted:When Russia hosts the Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games in February 2014 in the Black Sea coast city of Sochi, Olympic athletes, coaches, spectators, journalists, and other visitors will enjoy state-of-the-art sports venues, lavish hotels, newly constructed roads, telecommunications systems, transportation hubs, and other major infrastructure necessary to support several weeks of top-level Olympic sports. This rapid transformation of Sochi, formerly a small resort town and a favored vacation destination for Soviet and contemporary Russian leaders, has been made possible by a fast-paced construction schedule and an influx of tens of thousands of migrant construction workers from within Russia and from abroad. As this report documents, dozens of these workers suffered abuse and exploitation while employed on key Olympic venues. one sentence is correct another is not
