One of the weirdest loopholes I've ever heard of, but there we are. Wait a minute, how can that be right? I thought the reason they ended up with Chitauri instead of Skrulls in Avengers was because they don't have the rights to them!

Well it could be a thirdhand rumor that gotten twisted in the echo chamber, but that's what I've heard. And considering we've got things like Double Quicksilver and Universal having the Namor rights (and only the Namor rights), I'm inclined to believe it.

I guess Syfy is going to make a show based on DMZ. I've never read that, is it good?

I don't know where they are now, but I used to have the first...4 or 5 trades of that series. It had a lot going for it, but I remember finding it a little stagnant after a while. I should probably go back and check it out again though, it was a really fun concept.

I am pretty sure this season of Arrow's theme is "poo poo on Laurel's life", and I kind of like it.

Arrow still needs an old, rich playboy socialist, but otherwise it is good bad TV. As opposed to AoS which is just bad TV, and I really want to like it.

The Arrow writers need to at least pretend that Oliver does more than phone in his work at the company. He might as well be an intern from how that's depicted.

I just marathoned the first season of Arrow in slightly less than a week. And god drat it Hulu only has the last few episoded, CW too. I thought they were supposed to have the entire season as we went along! Why am I paying these guys five bucks a month! Are these episodes on any other service(something like iTunes but I don't use iTunes)?

It's kind of the "downside" of them constantly speeding through 100 different plot points at once. The whole his company is in trouble and Summer Glau is the partner he doesn't really want has pretty much been dropped for the time being. Same with Merlyn being written out for a while.

How many episodes is this season supposed to be? Wikipedia is very slowly adding more episodes as time goes on. A few weeks ago it topped off at 15, but now it goes a bit further.

Im guessing it will be a full season order, in the 22-24 range.

That's good news. Quick Arrow question: They retconned an entire human being off of the Queen's boat, correct? Because I feel like I remember there being another dude on the boat that the dad shot first, before killing himself. But after the first few episodes, that person is never mentioned again, nor the fact that his dad straight up murdered a guy to save his son.

I'm pretty sure that guy was just one of the crew members who helped run the boat. Still kind of messed up that Robert murders him.

I thought he had something to do with security for some reason. I only bring it up because they specifically say at some point that it was only Ollie and dad on the raft and I thought it was funny that they basically erased him from existence.

I just watched all of season one. In the last episode they flash back to the life raft, they still show Robert killing that dude first. Dude was just unimportant, doesn't warrant a backstory.
