Yeah it was a discussion in the freep thread about how conservatives prefer Putin because he's a burly manly man who hates gays over sissy communist 0bummer. It feels like years since the Krugman's been on Colbert/TDS.

Yea, at least the Soviets would just put people into the grinder until things were loving done.

This woman who wrote this Rob Ford book. A young, brunette, Canadian reporter named Robyn...that seems familiar...did she used to be a teen pop sensation?

Can I watch The Daily Show and Colbert Report legally online? I see them posted on their respective website in the full episodes section; do they reliably post episodes daily after it airs?

Yes. I usually watch them the morning after because 11pm is past my bedtime. You also get the convenience of them putting the whole interview up at once too.

On the recent Flophouse, Dan McCoy relates a story about how John Hodgemen came into his office. He assumed that becuase Elliot Kalan has moved on to head writer, he will be the one who will take the brunt of Hodgemen's bullying. Nope, Hodgemen came into Dan's office and hook the nerf gun he had there, to go to shoot Elliott in his head writers office.

And now all the SJW are going "You shouldn't mock Russia!!!!" because 52 billion and 7 years is not enough time to be prepared. And then Russians are mocking the western journalists for "not having vegan meals and organic cotton sheets" because that's what they are complaining about.

I do like seeing Gorby. I know that he probably won't last long, but it always just seems like he gives no fucks ever since he outlived Yeltsin. I feel like I read somewhere that his dogs play with Putin's dogs (and that they're neighbors?), but I haven't been able to find that anywhere and it was probably just some random thing somebody said on SA five years ago.

Y-Hat posted:Man, SJWs really hate going after the real social justice issues. You know, like the oppression of gay people in that very country. Well, they see someone being mocked and have to jump to their defense. They also do point out that this is kind of endemic to what is happening in Russia due to the lack of any kind of regulations on any, BUT if Putin wanted to show that Russia was a world power, he failed massively.

Maybe too irreverent, considering the subjects, especially Gorbachev. Basically blustered Nikonov into a child's argument, I think Nikonov expected something a little more serious. I swear though, was he actually doing an American accent?
