Like Dunc said, they have Falcao in the main event. Other than that, I have no idea, we'll have to watch to find out!

Invicta just signed 15 new punchladies: Atomweight (105lbs) • Amber Brown- 3-1 - World #5 AW in the Unified Rankings Strawweight (115lbs) • Livia Renata Souza- 5-0 - Good prospect, BJJ specialist (#19 in my unreleased FLW PSP rankings) • Karolina Kowalkiewicz – 4-0 She's a very good prospect, not ranked in the Unified Rankings but ranked #23 by PSP • Mellony Geugjes - 0-1 (18-5-2 Kickboxing, 10-0 Boxing) • Herica Tiburcio- 7-2 World #12 SW (#17 by PSP) • Ashley Greenway- 0-0 (4-1 amat.) • Joanna Jedrzejczyk – 4-0 - World #6 Flyweight (I had her #7 FLW in my unreleased PSP rankings) apparently dropping to Strawweight (still listed at FLW in the press release but SW on the website, and she was leaked ahead of time as a SW) Flyweights • Rachael Ostovich - 0-1 (6-0 amateur) • Valerie Letourneau – 4-3 - TriStar grappler • Delaney Owen – 0-0 (7-2 amateur) • Roxanne Modafferi – 15-11, (listed at BW in the press release but FLW on the website, and FLW is her natural division) (#30 BW PSP rankings) Bantamweights • Peggy "Daywalker" Morgan - 2-1 (#31 PSP rankings) • Cindy Dandois - 5-1 - Was previously retired and this is a really, really unexpected signing. She was a former Top 5 FW when FW was the big women's division, and she actually beat Marloes Coenen in her debut match. Mostly a grappler type. • Irene Aldana - 3-1 Actually kind of decent from the match I've seen of hers. (#38 PSP Rankings) Featherweights • Faith Van Duin - 4-0 - Technically she is the world #4 FW. Her record is kind of suspect since she picked up 3 of those wins in a one-night tournament, but FW needs anyone they can get. Chrom1um fucked around with this message at 04:53 on Feb 15, 2014 |

I managed to track down the results of that DEEP Jewels card, and my fave, Mizuki Inoue, missed weight so she was ineligible to win the fight. She armbarred Emi Tomimatsu in the third, so she lost by DQ. Why even have the fight if one person is unable to win?

Why not just do what normal promotions do, and issue some form of financial deterrent, like the fighter who misses weight giving up part of their purse.

Meanwhile, because Inoue managed to tap out Tomimatsu in her "loss," Tomimatsu is merely the Interim Champion. Inoue will probably be offered a rematch. I hope to gently caress she isn't contractually obligated to take it and can get the gently caress out of there. Maybe Roxy can hook her up to come and train in America, idk. Meanwhile, in other Deep/Jewels news, for the zero of you who care, Mika Nagano has canceled her retirement match after getting married and pregnant, and while they still have a core group they rely upon, they're generally in a bad way. The one bit of bright news talent-wise is that former Top 10 Strawweight Saori Ishioka is returning from retirement. She won't be Top 10 when she returns, hell she'll barely be Top 25, but she's still pretty decent and is only 26 (she originally retired at the age of 24), so it'll be interesting to see how she works out.

Willie I'm sorry to say that a win there is not getting him into the UFC. Beating someone who is 11-11, after not fighting for 22 months, and being age 35... not a good combination. "Fight didn't count" meme has run its course, but Bob Sapp fights literally don't count, so in real fights he's 2-0-1 in the last 3 years. Not a ringing endorsement.
