TOO SEXY FOR DEMOCRACY

JethroMcB posted:

Going to give Review a look tonight. I'm glad to hear it's meeting people's expectations, but I'm still worried by how the network has treated it since it was first announced over two years ago. I've been burned by Comedy Central too often (RIP, Onion SportsDome)

I was worried Review wouldn't be that good, but I saw the first episode and it was really solid. Lots of horrible darkness with a pleasant, upbeat vibe. And funny!

Expensive things like that are pretty common in LA from gift bags and gifting suites, right?

From what I hear if you save up enough of the cookies from the @midnight gift bags you can use them as currency for pretty much anything

I really hope we get a Farts and Pro-esque Brooklyn 99 episode. Andy, Chelsea, and pretty much anyone else Terry Crewes pleeeeeeease would be pretty rad.

Yeah that was a great episode. Horatio Sanz is the best CBB guest and I was surprised at how funny Jim O'Heir was.

Yes I already listened to it on my commute this morning. There are a few parts that I loving died. The continuation of Sanz geography obsessed characters is great and just how dirty and insane it is.

It's weird. Sometimes 9-11 jokes are goofy or not so good but this one just had me dying for some/.

Eugene Mirman is a straight up socialist then, because at a Hot Tub show he passed out the cupcakes he got from @midnight for the audience to share. They were really good cupcakes too.

Nope, it's a very clean episode.

Jim's "where does the money shot go?" question nearly stumped Horatio.

I won't be able to tell the difference because I'm about to listen to it on my phone speaker, but this weeks episode is about twice the file size as usual. Might be a better quality encode going forward (or a mistake).

It looks like a higher quality stereo file. I haven't listened either so i don't know if there's anything ing the show that would warrant it.

I was wondering if it was recorded back around September but then Scott mentioned the CBB season 1 DVD being out during the plugs. Maybe that was added in post?

Yeah it must have been added later. Sometimes you can tell when Scott's plugs are recorded separately. They're at a slightly different volume or something.
