I'm glad our frost bitten neighbors to the north won the gold. Hockey in Canada is a big deal, they deserve to win it. Now if they could just win a Stanley Cup, you know, the award that matters....

At first I thought this was an edited gif because the three skiers crossed so awkwardly that it looked fake. I must have watched that at least 10 times before scrolling down and seeing the "crash", which is a weird way to categorize it since it didn't appear any of the three actually made contact with each other. Part of me wishes all four fell and there was a photo finish of all four appearing to tie as they tumble-slide like rag doll penguins across the finish line.

LOL Only kinda sorta Olympics-related, but WLWT (Cincinnati) just cut in for a tornado warning in a nearby county, and the weather dude is all "Since they're not currently in competition on the Olympics, I wanted to let you know about this" (figure skating group was warming up). So what if they had been skating, buddy? were you just going to let that twister rip through without warning people?

It's like the 2007 Daytona 500. There was a huge crash in the final lap and one of the cars slid across the finish line on its roof while on fire.
