Vision of Escaflowne Opening Cowboy Bebop the Movie: Knockin' on Heaven's Door  Soul Eater  Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood Opening 2  Fullmetal Alchemist  Sword of the Stranger  Darker than Black Gaiden  Are the last two any good? The animation looks decent at the bare minimum but I've got no idea about the rest of the show.

Sword of the Stranger is a film, not a series, and yeah, you'll get a kick out of it if you're looking for a good action movie. Darker than Black is BONES, so it looks pretty good, but not as heavy action as that gif might imply.

The story arc of the entire show rather than the episodes that have self-contained stories just kind of falls on its face with a pretty unsatisfying climax and resolution. It's generally the tone, presentation, and exploration of the setting that makes it interesting.
