The more fighting games I watch, the more I see the hype in SF4. 30 second combos are crazy the first time you see them but they get a little old eventually. At least in a good SF4 match a casual observer can see a handful of intelligent decisions that were required to win. That's not to say there can't be awesome Marvel matches, but these days it's usually just the "Wait, someone who uses Skrull/Thor/(insert person no one plays here)!?" hype. If nothing else, that exhibition alone has convinced me to watch more west coast FGC streams.

I couldn't catch the stream Friday but after I looked at SRK for results and saw Snake Eyez come back, I had to check the vod. My god what a loving comeback. So, there's "worse" suits that are cheap so you can afford to die a lot vs. "better" suits that are generally superior but can't afford to die? Now I want to see a gimmick team with expendable suits.
