I guess since Toriko is getting married, Komatsu gave up. Poor guy.

But seeing Komatsu and Nono acting like that is like seeing two movie stars absolutely giddy to meet each other. :3:

It seems pretty one-sided on Nono's part. Besides, Komatsu already has a female love interest in Melk II, who is a better character than Nono anyway.

Incidentally, what are the odds that that's a GT Robo with one of the deceased dudes' consciousness stored in it? I could see that happening. Don't know if it actually will, of course.

Aren't GT Robo's something much more recently created? That old Nitro looks like it's been there for a long long time.

How old does it even have to be to look like that? We've had a nitro that was sleeping in a sarcophagus and it came out fine.

Those Nitro had self-dehydrated in a manner similar to tardigrades, which essentially become fuckin immortal during the process - tardigrades in this state are virtually immune to thirst, hunger, heat, cold, and any atmospheric condition including the infinite void of space. I think Granpappy Nitro has just been living the usual way, so time's left its mark.

The real mystery here is how a nitro survived living in such a tiny area for so long. Nitros are probably the biggest eaters around, except for maybe Midora.

The air inside the cabin is actually "honey air," packed with "self-renewing" "caloric particles" that can sustain a nitro almost indefinitely.

Both of you are good posters.

Also I bet we don't see the meeting and they skip it until the middle of a dramatic fight where an extended flashback reveals what happened and why Toriko's farts destroy planets now.

Nah, the Nitro will probably talk and drop some major bombs on Toriko setting him off on his grand adventure, and after he leaves muttering something about "This is what you predicted..Acacia"

During the flashback when the Blue Nitro showed up and Acacia and Froze left with them will probably be a major plot point, like the Nitro showed him how to find and prepare "God" because they needed a stronger Human world to produce Toriko and the like who, being born with gourmet cells are capable of surpassing human limits and becoming part food beings themselves.

Turns out the most delicious meal in the entire universe is MAN!

Man that has fully matured gourmet cells that is. Toriko has become the food which he loved.

The difference between confinement and rest is a shift in perspective

Toriko is just an alien plot for a world to make itself delicious so it can later be consumed by the Gourmaliens or something.

A few chapters ago that was raised as a real theory though. The Gourmet World is a weird-rear end landmass that got attached to real Earth somehow.

It would make entirely too much sense too. The Toriko world is just our continents pasted onto part of a planet that's like 10x the size, and the rest of the planet is where all the good food is, and the human world has some stuff that's probably adapted from that. It fits in completely in tone and reason with the story that the Torikoverse is one where Earth smashed into Gourmet Planet or whatever.

It's just old men being pervs in general, and since they're masters, naturally their perversion is also stronger than the average old man.
