I like how everything involving guns these days always has some crazy person screaming FALSE FLAG!!!! Even something as simple as "facebook is going to make sure no one uses it to make illegal gun sales, like they do for drugs and pornography" turns into "THEY'RE GONNA BAN ANYONE WHO LIKES GUNS!" and "the examples they used were all made up by gun grabbing democrats to silence our 2nd amendment rights!". It has nothing to do with a private company trying to protect its rear end to make sure people aren't using it to sell illegal goods. But then these people are convinced that anyone who wants even the smallest restriction on guns is a terrible tyrant who wants nothing to do but take away their rights and make them defenseless in face of the hoards of urban ferals and UN Peacekeepers that are just waiting for the population to be disarmed. I'd not be surprised there is an ultra fringe that thinks that actually having to pay for guns is some kind of evil plan to keep them out of peoples hands. I was listening to a podcast and they made an offhanded joke about Osama being alive because we never saw his body, but there really are people who believe that. What did they want? Osama's body paraded down the Penn Ave on a cart like a defeated enemy of Rome, then propped up in the Mall where people can pay 5bux to throw baseballs at it? Based on the primitive tribal instincts of the right wing, that's almost certainly what they actually wanted.

So my local transit company, who have allowed christian ads on buses and anti-abortion ads but didn't allow a humanist group from advertising they exist because it was potentially offensive and controversial is allowing a bunch of WTC tower 7 conspiracy ads on buses. I have no idea why a group in Canada has the money or interest to do this, but someone is paying thousands for loving 9/11 conspiracy bus ads and the bus company is standing by "freedom of speech"

By the fall nearly every intersection and crosswalk area had some big scrawled chalk message about 9/11, chemtrails, or how Jesus Christ was re-born in a swiss village and people need to know his love. He kept hating on Americans for electing Bush, fully believed in Conspiracy theories, and considered Jesse Ventura a man "Who spoke the truth" He'd call us all idiots, and then blame us for voting for Bush. Even people that were Democrats, who would have avatars/signatures saying they hated the guy.
