my new boots are comically warm but the insole they come with from the factory have a p wicked arch in them and i dont have that pronounced of an arch in my feet so they hurt and ill have to replace the insoles to be able to use them without discomfort

Hell yeah, stay with your pet, maybe feed them their favourite things or a food item they absolutely love but you won't let them have and just chill with them for a bit. I already have it planned out for what I'm going to do if I have to put down one of my pets.
