Glenn Beck discovered "Rules for Radicals" when he started his Fox-era P. T. Barnum act and now it's seen as the liberal Bible by right-wingers who've never read it.

Funny thing about "Rules for Radicals" is that its lessons can pretty easily be applied by any outsider political group of any political persuasion. It's basically a book about how to play hardball with the establishment.

When I was seriously considering running off to join the Legion, I heard something similar about it. Because of its nature, the enlisted ranks are as diverse as you can get, but if you planned on trying to become an officer, you pretty much had to be Catholic, or at least willing to become Catholic, which seemed a bit odd as I'd always understood France to be rather more secular than that. But institutional cultures tend to try and preserve themselves, I guess.

FOX is running with it - at this point little more than speculation as to causality or casualties.

From under my tinfoil hat I’m speculating that because this was probably not a high value target for Jihad, perhaps Achmett was brewing up his offering to Muchmett and had a premature detonation.

I hope responders are going in with gieger counters; the compression charge for a nuclear device can be pretty substantial, and capable of a lot of destruction even if it does not sufficiently condense the core to critical mass.
That core is highly radioactive however, and would create a “dirty bomb” effect even if it didn’t go full Hiroshima on us.

Apparently the Boston Marathon Jihaddis made up their pressure cooker bombs in a similar apartment complex near the campus of the college they were attending or had attended on student visas.

Interesting coincidence that the scene seems close to Columbia U, isn’t it?

Is this area known to be a Muslim enclave by any chance?

Wouldn’t it be a shame if not only were hundreds if not thousands of innocent Kafir spared by such a PD, but the only casualties turn out to be disciples of the ROP?

I’m convinced that Islam is not done with NYC yet by any means, and will not stop planning and plotting for it’s total destruction until it is completely leveled and possibly uninhabitable due to radiation or WMD contamination for many years to come.

That could happen any day now.... and perhaps it just almost did.

Speaking of the Air Force Academy:

Air Force Cadets Angry Over What Happened W/ Bible Verses Staged a ‘Revolt' (Mikey Weinstein)

quote:

The leader of a church-state separatist group says that there’s a “revolt” underway at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo., after officials there removed a Bible verse from a white board outside a cadet’s bedroom door following complaints that its presence was offensive.

Cadets angry over the Air Force Academy’s removal of the verse have since begun posting scripture from the Bible and the Koran on their whiteboards in solidarity, said Mikey Weinstein, president of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation.

“The Air Force Academy has a revolt on their hands. What are they going to do?” Weinstein told TheBlaze Wednesday.
