I guess since it wasn't a title defense people aren't clamoring to see it. But I actually think it's the best match that either guy has had so far this year. What's really interesting about it is that it's a great reminder that Okada was trained originally to be a Toryumon guy. In another life he would have been one of the great Jr. Heavyweights in the world. Instead, he has to settle for being one of the full-stop greats. Also, German Suplex of the decade during that fantastic finishing run.

HM: Hanson vs Ciampa, ROH 12th Anniversary That was an awesome sprint. Two big dudes throwing down and Hanson doing some crazy impressive stuff. I never thought Ciampa would be so good at being rag dolled. I'll go MOTYC for Hero vs Cole from the same show.

Hanson is remarkably agile for someone that size. Cole-Hero was much better than their PWG match from December. Great TV episode all around. Taven-Young wasn't anything special but it was far from bad.

MotYC: Ibushi v Okada, Anniversary Show I haven't seen the rest of the show yet, but this match was loving incredible. From the cute little chain wrestling spots at the start of the match to the Ibushisault to the outside I was already excited because it was a fast-paced Okada opening. Then the first Rainmaker reversal happened, and I was loving dumbfounded by how great the lariats looked out of Ibushi. Then everything else was just amazing from that point on. The German was absolutely disgusting.
