They are KOs. Most obvious clue is the netting on Shrapnel's arm. Still, at half the price it's not like they're half the quality. Well worth having in a Classics collection, I say. More comparisons here.

Shrapnel's arms have a totally different pattern, those three bars don't come to a point at all, they just square off where they would begin to taper. The square sticker on the box is green for sure. MinionOfCthulhu, I didn't get any extra weapons for anyone, Not-Shrapnel is wearing his pinwheel on his back. The instructions for Not-Bombshell show him using Not-Shrapnel's claws, perhaps that's what you're thinking? Or maybe you just got the real thing.

So if the box has a real sticker on it, it's genuine and probably third-shift, not a KO.

Yeah I got the real deals, two out of three for cheap when they were on sale on BBTS. They're cool though right? I want those vehicle retools to come out but they haven't said anything about them in a while.

The stickers have always been what I've read as one of the key ways to tell, especially with an unopened item, along with blurry or low res picture printing on the box. The screws are not a reliable method, because sometimes the KO company will change the screw types to match if they notice people calling them out as a difference. Mold differences are the best option, obviously, but sometimes you can't open a figure and check before buying.

So the comic is going in a direction that I'm rather enjoying. Not the plot, no that's dumb, but I'm loving all the Autobots and Decepticons just singing and hanging out in Swerve's. Plus Megatron showing regret over the war, and the first sign of the old poet in eons. Then again, I guess the first real look back at him was back in Chaos Theory. Although it's only through recent developments that I now believe that he was just trying to rile Optimus Prime up to execute him because the old Megatron was still in there and sickened by what he'd become

I love old man Megatron reflecting back on his life. I love how Prowl is falling on hard times and nobody but the constructicons like him. I hope they become his goons or something. I love how everybody's just partying down like there's no tomorrow. I couldn't care less about Shockwave or Galvatron or the dudes stuck in an alternate dimension or any of their wacky space-time schenanigans. BLAH BLAH BLAH EITHER KILL EACHOTHER OR GET BACK TO THE CHARACTERS WORKING ON THEIR INTERRELATIONSHIPS.

I actually am intrigued by the notion that Shockwave could become Unicron. It seems less that he wants to be god but more that he wants to pull an Annihilus and destroy everything, which could all be deep seated anger from all the shadowplay and empurata that inverted him. Of course, I love the interpersonal relationships as well. VERY curious about how Megatron's going to play out. I love this book.

I wonder if there is some executive meddling going on with this, because Megatron also went good at the end of Transformers: Prime TV series. It just feels odd to have that thing happen in both the comic and the TV series. Rung asking Swerve if he was going an impression on Blurr was cute.

Back in 1999 $100 for a perfect factory-made Voyager-class Rhinox would've been amazing, what does 15 years REALLY matter....right....right? Guys?
