Whew. I hope he didn't burn himself out again! All these demanding fans! He's all spending hours getting each turn of phrase perfect. Maybe we should all donate a few bucks. Keep his spirits up.

It's a peculiar pleasure, like the threat of nuclear war in "Dr. Strangelove". Dreading a thing while secretly longing for it.

No, he's the rear end in a top hat. Thanking in advance assumes compliance. I was going to be patient but now I can't as that would encourage such atrocious behavior.

Up yours, Onstad. You cold have a peter in your mouth.

I dunno, it kinda sounds like he was talking about the subscription service to me. Three bucks a month for the privelege of getting to read no updates at all.

I wonder if Onstad has ever thought about doing Patreon for Achewood on a per-comic basis.

To be fair there were like maybe two subscriber blog posts a week and 3 bux isn't much.

It was actually pretty good, there was more than enough content for the cash. Plus the comments were actually fun to read.

It started covering the wedding and aftermath, and there were tons of posts then, if I'm thinking of the right thing.

Well there was the Assetbar thing that was done, which had special comics and a comments system iirc. Octopus Pie and PVP did it as well. The comments were pretty funny, for an internet comments page. When he went on his hiatus the final comic had several thousand comments, as it just became a bbs of sorts. They went under as of 2012, so it's all gone, unfortunately.

And there was the "Archive Edition" Which is still going on I guess. 76 comics for 12 bucks. I had it at one point but it expired.
