My friend is a smart guy who unfortunately believes in some health-related bullshit. It started when he lost a lot of weight on a 'toxin-cleansing' diet. Unsurprisingly, morbidly obese people lose a lot of weight when they control their portions and stop eating processed food/sugary drinks every day - but his sucess caused him started believing in 'toxins.' I'll be honest, though, I didn't know it had progressed to the point of believing that fruit miiiiight just cure cancer if you eat it the right way.

Glitter bottles for time outs are absolutely stupid and will make your time out less effective. Giving your kids toys during time outs defeats the entire purpose.
