I'm not sure if already been stated but  comes from leavemywife's lp of earthbound. The mad duck enemy appears in one really silly dungeon in the game, its only two attacks are dancing and drain magic points. Neither of which affect the character you play at the time. That LP also spawned about 5+ mad duck related avatars.
