I think they were the Gotham Twin Towers, not to be confused with the New York Twin Towers. Just like how Gotham had it's own version of the Statue of Liberty. It really was just New York with the numbers filed off.

Didn't Trigon use the Twin Towers as a chair when he manifested in the real world ina Teen Titan's story, or was it just Titan Tower. I know they had him use Titan Tower in the animated version.

Smash cut to the next day to a scene like the Marvel 9/11 issue only instead of Doom crying, it's Batman saying "I wasn't even there that day :("

My memory and my web fu fail me--a friend would like to know what the original issue is where the villain tells the heroes that they've doomed those they've touched as well as themselves, and Atom, GL, and Flash have thoughts bemoaning their love interests, but Batman is instead worried for Robin. As you probably guessed, I can't suss the issue info out. I suspect it's early era Justice League but that's about it.

This is the best DC comic currently being made, which is pretty depressing since DC Comics aren't involved with it in any way, shape or form.

Was it definitely this? I've also heard it was from some bizarre DC/Harvey Comics crossover where Batman killed Casper*, but then again I have never seen any proof that this comic actually exists.

*There was supposedly a crossover between Batman and Casper and at some point I think the Spectre showed up and claimed that the people of the Harvey Comics universe were made up of everyone that Batman had ever failed to save or something, and hence by that logic Batman killed Casper, and hence that was his shameful secret.

I think it's probably best for JL8 and its readers if DC stays the hell away from it. That being said, I'd still love trades or something, but dear god keep DC editorial away.

The real mystery is: How did he manage to shrink it?

In my head cannon, I imagine that Batman has a button in the Batcave that when pushed temporarily turn the DC Universe back into a Silver Age, Brave and the Bold style universe. Seeing Batman with such a sci-fi closet that he uses when he needs to deal with Jet Powered apes is in keeping with this interpretation.

Does Batman keep the Dalek around for pest control? I'd assume it would be great on rats and small curious children.
