I think the big difference is that Belushi was a comedian and not someone claiming to be America's anchorman, which implies he's actually conveying news.

Debating on policy or actions is a waste since with the vast majority of Obama's conservative detractors the stuff they are outraged about at that particular minute is just the excuse they use for hating him in the first place.
