Grant's work is about a 50/50 split for me with whether I was furious at him, or in love with him, after I read the book. Some of his stuff is SO GOOD but sometimes you have to know EXACTLY what he's talking about to make heads or tails of the comic.

There are some Morrison comics I really really like but I think he's gotten in the habit of mistaking obfuscation for sophistication, particularly in his DC output.

It was cool having an artist for each character but the links between events made it confusing at times. I didn't know the train Manhattan Guardian was on was the same one that flattened Horigal when it was hunting down Klarion. Maybe if Irving added the skull paint on the front it would have made it easier to figure out. Also, Solaris showing up in All-Star Superman felt like it came outta nowhere.
