I did for the most part. People complained about the cable not following the monitor arm the last time. I didn't add the cord for the wireless mouse though that was already on the desk.

It's actually orange I didn't even realize it was there. I also don't remember what it's from so uh yeah.

Flip clock rules, and the fish poster is not mine. Although the fish posters fine too.

I think the wedges help but it could be me buying something and not wanting to think I wasted money. I mean it makes sense that they'd do something. Yeah I bought them on Amazon, Audioengine also sells them directly.

A log bench would probably look too rustic and would definitely be uncomfortable.

I don't know for sure on those ones, but the ones I bought at guitar center a year or so ago came with a couple other foam parts to either angle the speakers down, straight, or tilted up. Looks like the same box as well. I'd say they were very worth it.

That's not what gaslighting means you hyperbolic dipshit.

MMD3 posted:

hmmmm, those don't really seem like they raise the angle of the the monitors though...

The foam's primary purpose isn't to raise or lower the angle of the audio coming at your ears, it's to decouple the speaker from the desk itself so the surface of the desk does not vibrate with the speakers and become a part of what's producing the sound, basically. This can alter what you hear too. With monitors on the desk, you usually hear a lot more bass overall, which means you'll then tend to dial the bass out of your mixes, leaving them overly thin and brittle sounding.
