The strips on its GoComics page are 10+ years old and newer pages look much nicer, although I don't know if those pages are suitable for this thread (seeing as they're more webcomic-y): UGH

Bloom County I guess we're to assume that Limekiller, who hasn't been seen since the strip started, got married at some point. Or maybe Mr. Breathed just likes the name. Sounds like a college nickname. Maybe it was his nickname. Who knows? Imagine if this had happened to Axl Rose. Or Mötley Crüe. Or Cinderella. I think it did happen to Bret Michaels. I like Mason and have high hopes that this is the start of his life turning around somehow. Edit: He actually reminds me of a kid I knew in high school named John come to think of it. My most vivid memory of John was him taking out a lighter and lighting it in order to get pulled out of class because his buttons were getting pushed and he didn't want to get violent. He was still escorted out of the room by the cops anyways but better at least it wasn't because of him getting violent. RandomPauI fucked around with this message at 01:20 on Apr 5, 2014 |

Mercury Hat posted:Eeyore the Donkey He's clinically depressed, you see. I grew up totally relating to him because I was suffering from undiagnosed clinical depression. It was great that even though he was a literal sad sack, his friends still hung out with him and didn't try to force him to "get over it". Sure they picked on him, but friends do that in moderation. That's all there is to get.

See also: Josh (Retail), Tiffany (Luann), Dustin (Dustin) when they aren't having him fill the role of his father, etc. Really, it's kind of surprising that Mrs. Trellis or whatever her name is (I might be mixing characters/comics up) isn't more likable than the protagonists as well.
