Marvel really is doing an amazing job. Thor: GOT is gorgeous, as is every other Marvel book I'm reading (Black Widow, Ms. Marvel, All-New Ghost Rider, Moon Knight, the list goes on.)

For content: here's a preview of the upcoming Elektra book.

Look at those loving colors.

This is incredibly disappointing to hear. I'd thought an industry based on it's artwork would have higher standards than that. Is there any reason why DC is like this besides general incompetence? I don't really know much about them besides the general receptions they've gotten around here.

Wow that looks great

Thorgal used to be consistently amazing. The later stories don't hold up as well as the earlier ones though.

This is from the webcomic http://killsixbilliondemons.com. I love the sense of otherworldliness in this image.

Erm, whoops. Shows how long it's been since I've read it.

Though if anyone has that panel/page, I'd love to see it again...I always got a big kick out of it.

I like the way God was depicted in Chronicles of Wormwood. They're like oh poo poo...it's God (next panel is an insane old man with his hand down his pants). I'd like to see that again too if anyone has it.

What's the point of editors and poo poo when they let stuff like this into their products? Are they too afraid to go to an artist and say "Hey, uh, hey there, Bob. You know, we're gonna need you to redraw those pictures for us. They suck. Really, really poor quality." Do they think they're going to cry?

This looks terrible. Everything about it.

It's not even saved by telling people it's 'stylized', it's so bad. But it is so bad it's funny. So it has that going for it.

Probably because it would cost more money to have the artist redo it/hire another artist than it's worth.

The premise sounds like a lovely half baked joke comic someone based off a reddit post, so they're probs about equal. That page is nice though.

Content: I really wish Frazer Irving was doing the interior art for Bedlam. Not that I dislike Riley Rossmo's interior work - the jaggedness fits the insanity of the protagonist and his world - but Irving is putting out career best stuff here.
