I was looking forward to us wasting tens of millions of pounds on over rated English players to top up our quota damnit :argh:

On a slightly more serious note, a transfer embargo isn't even one of the possible punishments in the UEFA FFP guidelines, so not entirely sure where that's come from.

A fine isn't exactly going to do the trick is it?

What are the possible punishments anyway?

1) Warning
2) Reprimand
3) Fine
4) Point deduction
5) With holding of CL revenue
6) Ban from registering new players for the CL
7) Limit on number of players that can be registered for CL
8) Expulsion from CL
9) Stripping of previous European titles (HAHAHAHA)

We'll get a warning, a reprimand and a big fine. It's all part of the rollercoaster that has been City

All UEFA documents I find say the expulsion is the ultimate punishment, I don't know where you got that last bit from. Expulsion isn't even possible until next season anwyay.

I thought that, a mate linked me to it on facebook. Pretty sure the last one is bollocks

Pretty much, unless you break it so many times and to such a degree that you do get expelled.

Either way I can see City hiring some massively twat-ish lawyers and going to town on UEFA.

Norwich and Sunderland's run ins are horrific, and Cardiff and Fulham are both in more trouble than us. But as the Liverpool fans would say I am 'bricking it'.

Praying that Newcastle don't remember how to play football this weekend. We made Palace and West Brom look like world beaters, so...
