I shouldn't really be surprised at this, Alan Moore has always had a tremendous respect for the comic medium and picked bits of the best to work into his own stories. I've no doubt he was an avid reader of Modesty Blaise.

Spidey of Ok, you guys. SOMEBODY in here has to have the gif Borden made of the third panel. If you do, please post it. It was perfect. It appears I didn't think to save it way back in late 2010... sometimes I disgust myself. #1: There's been some chatter about how awesome the Mole Man was for going to the trouble of convincing a priest to hang out in his lair until wedding times, but let us also give him props for also managing to come up with a wedding dress in the fashionable mermaid style on such short notice. Those things can be a bitch to fit properly. #2: This has been Mary Jane for like this whole arc:

Bleeker the Rechargeable Dog Man and those things cost 50 bucks + to replace. Dustin He's got MRSA all over those suckers. On the Fastrack You just bought her that gift card for her birthday though? I thought this volunteering to do your taxes was returning the favor (since presumably she doesn't plan to start buying you birthday presents). Safe Havens Go with the impostor plan.
