Here's probably a few pages you didn't expect to see out of a Disney Comic, but then again this was the 90ies and even the Duck Avenger went a little ~extreme~ (at least in Italy!) Sequence from PKNA Issue #9 - Fountains of the Moon. Background: The Alien Evronians are Invading Africa, to grow their offspring and take over Earth (and enslave everyone here). The Duck Avenger aint gonna have that, but ran into an ambush and got himself shot (twice). But he's not the only human (...duck?) on site: The bad aliens happen to have another issue to deal with though, namely a certain Creditor (she only collects in $Revenge$). The soldiers decide that sneak attacking the alien baby-making pumpkins is the proper course... with a flamethrower The double sandwhich convinces the aliens to bug out... She then proceeds to murder all the (remaining) aliens, happy ending! G.I. Joe Vol. 1 #19 The Eskimo mercenary Kwinn has cut his ties with Cobra and been tracking down Dr. Venom, who has tried to kill him several times now. Unfortunately, after locating Venom, Kwinn and Snake Eyes are defeated and locked into experimental Cobra armored suits which override their conscious will. Venom explains that the weapon systems have a failsafe preventing them from firing on anything painted Cobra blue. Snake Eyes strains to break free through sheer force of will.

And that was Kwinn's final rant about weasels and the weasel spirit. That dude had a thing about weasels. He was enough of a badass for Snake Eyes to respect him, but drat was he obsessed with weasels.

Continuing my little PKNA romp, I bring you another excellent issue: #10 - Trauma (we'll get to the titular Trauma in a moment) Last time the humans went up against the alien pumpkins, wearing nothing but combat fatigues and gasmasks against admittedly immobile opponents, but with the defensive power of *metal melting molecular acid*, *biohazardous spore clouds* and regeneration, where Mechs failed* commandos succeeded. This battle is going to be different... *A previous issue I didn't mention! As bad guys goes, the Evronians, beside having above-mentioned weird rear end pimpkin phase, their most notable power is their psychic/emotional vampirism. They'll suck out your emotions and leave you a dry husk. Oh, and they are pretty aggressive jerks in general, so they aren't going to take getting beat up by a bunch of Ducks kindly. Which brings us to this issue's alien plot to destroy the Duck Avenger, Once And For All And they got just the guy for the job, enter... No wait, back up a little. Enter... Trauma. That's more like it. He's a bad dude, how bad? P. Bad. Obviously our squishy unpowered hero aint' up for the job, so... When the Going Gets Tough, the Duck Gets Tougher Act III - Metal, indeed. But really, how good could this fight be?

You know, if you would have just told me that they made Thor look badass by having him fight Galactus, I probably would have just rolled my eyes and assumed it was another case of people abusing the character to make others look tough. But this is a whole different story.

A golden oldie from the previous Badass Panels topic: The final chapter of Garth Ennis's run on Punisher MAX. The Punisher is close to finding out the identities of the villains of the story and they're rightfully terrified, since they have no combat experience whatsoever and he's the loving Punisher. Knowing that the Punisher doesn't kill American soldiers following lawful orders, they send what is essentially Rainbow Six to capture him under the pretext that Castle using his military training to be a more effective serial killing psychopath is making the American military look bad. While trailing him, two of the operatives get ambushed and in the scuffle manage to plant a tracking device on his coat. They trail him to a hideout and prepare to capture him.
