When Scott is telling his story about getting in trouble for calling Kulap a b-word, you can hear PFT laugh HARD in the background. Best moment of the podcast.

Maybe i'm just in a giggling mood today but I'm laughing my rear end off a lot at the latest U Talking U2 podcast.

NotWearingPants posted:Yeah, I've seen people say (not here, but other places) that Aukerman isn't funny, and just rides the coattails of his guests. But U Talkin U2 to Me and Analyze Phish destroy that argument. Totally agree! It's a good podcast with guests I've never heard of, and amazing with some guests like PFT. Everyone should check the last few pages of the SPY thread, it goes over the other great guests (Kinane, Tobin, ect.)

Scott posted:The first episode you heard is us tearing through U2's discography, we did 3 albums and an EP on that one. We then slowed to a glacial pace. (Scott: "I'll say") Episode 2 covered one album. Episode 3 covered another album. Episode 4 covered another album. Episode 5 did not cover a single album. When I started listening to U Talkin U2 to Me? literally all I knew about U2 was that Bono wears sunglasses and The Edge wears a toque. Now I know that there are 2 other guys in the band.

You Talkin' U2 To Me is consistently brilliant, newest episode might be the best so far. Ultimate bro-hang cast.

It's funny that Hollywood Handbook pretty consistently has the most actually famous guests of any Earwolf podcast but seemingly some of the smallest listenership.

The latest episode of CBB has been played 104,987 times on Soundcloud, 107,456 for HDtGM and, uh, 2,311 for HH. Maybe they're all listening on iTunes? e: 5,000 is good numbers for HH, average for Totally Laime or Ronna & Beverly, sub-par for The Fogelnest Files which normally pulls in 7,000, and would be absolutely disastrous for literally any other Earwolf podcast, with the exception of The Wolf Den. Yeah even Yo Is This Racist does better, each episode of that gets like 2,000 downloads on Soundcloud but he puts out 5 episodes a week. I looked through some of the numbers for the other less popular ones like Totally Laime and I think HH might be the least popular podcast on Earwolf even though it's funnier than pretty much everything else on the site

Possibly my favourite of the 100 running jokes in You Talkin' U2 To Me is their increasingly extreme vilification of 'Old Sourpuss' Brian Eno as being the source of all problems for the band.

Well one way to boost up your viewership (we know they aren't viewers) is to cross promote yourself. Sean and Hayes have a few really nice podcasts in their own network, but have they ever been guests on any of them? I4H would be hard to get on, but I doubt CBB or HDTGM would be out of the question. Maybe they have and I just don't remember it? I've enjoyed HH, but it will never hold a candle to RSS, RIP you sweet angel.

Sean is a pro-tier I4H guest in my opinion. RSS and the Teaser Freezer also prove that Hayes and Sean could do HDTGM on their own, and it would be better than it is now. In fact they should take over all the podcasts including Gelmania.
