Run stuff for ultimate comms 140 of them and just buy a mh or oh and get a 180 that way.

I thought comm vendors didn't sell mainhands...I have the offhand already (I think) but those are tied to that slot, aren't they? I know the armorings are...

Correct, no mainhands on comms vendors. (Outside of outdated ones.)

That's why MHs are generally the most prized drops in ops.

Can only buy offhands with Ultimate Comms.

You can buy a Mainhand with a barrel/hilt 30 (Grade 162?) with 120 elite comms from the Czerka reputation vendor, that's the highest you can buy with comms. Other than that you have to win a drop or buy it outright.

I'm 0 for 12 on Barrel recipes purchased with elite comms before the 34s became craftable. With my track record, I'm not wasting any Ultimates on that.

It was in many ways a sloppy run that by all rights probably shouldn't have worked as well as it did, but we beat it! I think the final boss only took us 2 tries? Maybe 3? It turns out just killing Bestia right away when she drops down works pretty well, I don't know why we didn't try that sooner.

Most of the strategies on Dulfy are made for hard or nightmare content, and then also used for storymode. So there's probably a super good reason for the kill order in hard mode but we could just power through it on SM.

Yeah, the difference on Dread Council in that first phase is that in Story Mode, you have 200 seconds to push the other bosses below 50% after you get the first one. In Hard Mode, it's 40 seconds, so you have to be damaging all the bosses throughout that phase.

Oh, I'd meant to mention this at some point.

For our Thursday raid this week, I'd like to try Story Mode Dread Fortress. If this would be your first time, make sure to run the intro Oricon quests until you have the quest for Dread Fortress. It rewards a bunch of comms, an Arkanian relic, and a Tauntaun mount.

If you find yourself having problems with the Oricon quests, due to gear or whatever, pipe up in guild chat and someone can probably help you run through them.

The weekly quest resets tomorrow, so I'm sure a bunch of people will be wanting to run that anyway and will be around to help! I forget exactly what its rewards are but I remember them being good.

Just one note: if it's your very first time through Oricon, and you're being helped out by people who are just there for the daily/weeklies, make sure you're the one taking the lead. You have to do your quests in a specific order (returning to the questgiver occasionally), whereas the daily quests can be done in any order. Also, the first run story quests have a few more requirements than some of the dailies (usually "disable 5 maguffins" instead of 3 for the daily, etc). If you're just following the guys that are doing the dailies, you'll miss a few maguffins and have to return to them. Not a big deal, but it saves more time if you just do everything in one swoop, and you, having the quest, will have the best perspective of what you need to do.

In mostly 156 gear (180 hilt in mh) I've been parsing on the basic ship dummy around 1900-2100 dps as carnage. For lower gear levels, it's probably the best spec since you don't need to stack hit thanks to Ataru form.

I actually enjoyed Warrior a bit more than Agent. There's less lore, but more straight up asswhupping. Plus the Sith Warrior fits into the Corellia planetary story too (which is much better than the Republic one imo)

Being the Emperor's Wrath and booting Darth Baras to some shabby Outer Rim planet without any real power is pretty satisfying.

To be fair (we're on to bounty hunter spoilers now) the moment the great hunt was mentioned in the BH's story, I just sort of assumed I'd be winning it at some point, I don't think that's a huge spoiler.

Well, Inquisitors get the Forcewalker title at the beginning of act 2 after they inhale some ghosts through the force or something so why not give it to us at the beginning of act 3?

Honestly the warrior story is why I'm kind of sad they aren't continuing class specific stories. A confrontation between a light side warrior and the Emperor is coming, in the same way as what happened with Lord Scourge. I'd love to see that play out.

The Wrath really isn't a title mentioned much in the game, so I can't see what it'd be much of a spoiler. The Act literally starts you out with "You're the Wrath now. Congrats. Now go kill Baras." The GMotGH title is more of a spoiler, though, if anything.

I disagree. For the Bounty Hunter from the getgo your objective is the Great Hunt. It's easy enough to assume that the player will win it. As for the Inquisitor Forcewalker is vague enough to not really give anything away. Without having gotten to that point how would you know what it meant? While the Warrior's Emperor's Wrath is incredibly specific. You're the Wrath of the Emperor. Yes, the act starts off with it. Act 3. That's 2/3rd through the game and it just comes out of nowhere. It's a really cool title though and a shame that they just cut it instead of figuring out a way to make it work.

Light-side Sith Warrior is so far my favorite class storyline and could honestly carry a full game on its own if they did it right.

It's pretty clear that the two classes being built up to be the most relevant to the Emperor storyline are Sith Warrior and Jedi Knight so I wonder if that'll get acknowledged or if it was flushed down the drain when the game went F2P like I feared.

Zakmonster

A spoiler tag for titles is the obvious solution.

I've never really minded spoilers, but something as small as "You become a [insert thing here]" without any of the details of how that happens isn't really that much of a spoiler.

I find that it's more of a non-specific synopsis in one of those heroic/villainous journey stories:

The Sith Warrior's journey to becoming the Emperor's Wrath.

The Jedi Consular's journey into becoming David Hayter phoning it in (sorry, I've never played the Jedi Consular before).

The Trooper's journey up the ranks of the military, from Sergeant to Major.

Jack Nicholson's journey into becoming a raving lunatic in The Shining/real life.

Tony Stark's journey into becoming the heroic Iron Man in Iron Man.

Caesar's journey to world domination in Rise of the Planet of the Apes.

In plenty of these cases (which includes the Sith Warrior's story), it's not really the about the what that needs to be spoilered, but the how of it. I dunno, maybe I'm just obtuse.

I put spoiler tags on the titles, just in case people are really sticklers about these things because I'm nice that way.

EDIT: Spelling.
