This thread moves too fast, so I'm going to ask anyways. I have an off-brand PS3 controller. All of it's inputs are entirely off and only the left analog does the correct thing. Is there a way to fix this? What do I have to do to get this going? I've tried disabling other HID stuff but that didnt seem to work either

Hey, couple of questions: 1. Is it still possible to drop items for others? I'd kill for an Old Whip 2. What is the earliest area that you can summon in? I'm trying to kill the Heide Knight in the FoFG but he kicks my rear end.

Man, I had a sign that was constantly being rated after I put it down. It was nice having a steady stream of healing. Suddenly it vanished, and the game got much quieter. I miss it. Anyway, I fought The Dragonrider or whatever as the first boss. He was very easy, but it felt great to one shot him blind. Especially after how many times I died to the mace-wielding guardian before him.

Where should I head after killing The Last Giant? I seem to have checked every passage other than the mist door to The Pursuer, which is where I stopped playing the PS3 version ).

EDIT:Doctor Albatross posted:Where should I head after killing The Last Giant? I seem to have checked every passage (obviously, of course, I haven't). You have 2 options, take the path from Majula toward Heide's Tower of Flame and push through there, or take the key that the boss gave you and unlock some doors. The door that leads to the next boss is located in that large outlook with the giant stone sword crashed into the castle. What armour would you guys recommend, except for the Havel set, if the image I want to get across is "OK don't worry I'm here and I will tank the ever loving poo poo out of everything for you"? Big, hulking armour that nonetheless provides comfort rather than intimidation.

The key opens doors in FOFG, but the one you may be most interested in is one you will find by running past the giant's elevator, to a hall of sunlight. Alternately, there is another path out of Majula that you can reach without any special aid.

My top rated message is advice on killing a group of enemies, my second-most is giving directions, and my third is calling Targray a pointless but hole. The constant healing is pretty nice - it might be a good idea to put a stupidly incongruous joke message in a highly frequented area in hopes it gets voted up massively. No harm

I can't light a torch because I can't toggle at the bonfire. For me, that (yellow 'Y') button was the same as I used to 2H a weapon. But there are two actions I have bound to that key, the 2H command and then in a different menu keybind the 'Function 2' key. I have not one single time been able to do a guard break or jumping attack using a keyboard and mouse (mechanical keyboard: Ducky Shine 3, Windows 8 default input rates, Logitech G400S mouse). This is trying to do, for example, forward + light mainhand attack in quick succession or simultaneously on mouse and keyboard. However, I _have_ been able to do both a guard break attack and jumping attack, somewhat reliably, using just the keys. Very rapid tap-tap of forward+light attack, for example, to do guard break. Just had a weird experience, I got summoned by some dude and there's another white phantom there, the white phantom goes into The Pursuer's fog gate BEFORE the host and starts fighting him, I couldn't go through the fog gate, and the host is just standing there doing nothing. Weirdest thing of all, the separation crystal wouldn't work, it was just greyed out.

Personally I'm one of the ones struck by the startup crash. I've tried about 20 different fixes on random forums with no luck. Seems to do with having a DVI connection. Really really sucks, I've spent hours trying to fix this. That's what I get for pre-ordering I guess.
