There have been a couple of threads on ASMR here on SA. It usually isn't sexual and the "tingles" are something that is tough to explain unless you experience them. Loads of people get angry at people who experince the "tingles", claiming it is all some bullshit extra-special-snowflake attention whoring or some sex thing. Yes the videos are weird, doubly so if you don't get the experience out of them that they are meant to provide.

Wow, the 1hr 40min makeup video is nuts and those seem pretty creepy but that shoe-shining one was oddly compelling.
