Yeah, in the end I suppose I'm willing to trade a couple weeks of armed groups taking over Hicksville, Nevada if it contributes to long-term bad blood between the various militia groups and the real perps eventually get the jail cell that's coming to them. I have to admit I'm still a little dubious given how much armed groups repelling Federal agents, setting up checkpoints, and threatening locals have been treated with kid gloves. I guess that's just encouraged them to get bolder and bolder, and eventually there'll be a point when the hammer has to come down, or they all get broke and go home and are woken up by a SWAT team the next morning. This whole thing had to have been a fabulous opportunity for intel gathering on the types of people who would turn out to point guns at federal agents though.
