There is a lot of thriving wild bunnies where I live. And they just got tiny baby bunnies!!  So naturally I go on bunny safaris in my neighborhood.  Edit: Taken from my balconny on another day.

Their intake of water occurs while eating aquatic plants as well as actively drinking. This may explain why manatees can go so easily from freshwater to marine environments. It also means that people do not need to give manatees water from hoses. Manatees can take care of their own fresh water needs.

This is how the Humane Society/adoption agencies should be running their ads. Just show rescues going from difficult, terrible lives to happy pets. No more of the 'puppy behind bars is gonna get put down while Sarah McLaughlin plays in the background' guilt trip nonsense they currently use.

Not a picture but a small story: With the weather getting better here, Canada Geese are returning. At one of the malls nearby, pretty much every little square of dirt with a tree has one of them sitting there, presumably nesting. It's kinda , because they don't realize there's a lot of cars driving around and not a lot of water sources in the area. But I was driving around yesterday and noticed that someone had put plastic buckets of water next to each nesting bird. Will it help? I don't know, but good on whoeever did it.
