I guess you could go for a bulk up build with either earthquake or stone edge, but both of those options leave you weak to something else (earthquake would leave you walled by flying types, stone edge means aegislash walls you). Conkledurr is one of the mons that I would say really needs his tutor coverage moves to be effective, unfortunately.

Oh yeah, there is totally that. There is also the option of drop mach punch too. It isn't the best one, but I've seen people use it effectively (I think I am Reverend made a team where his conkledurr didn't have it and it looked solid enough). Conkledurr is really cool but weird because while he's strong as hell, most of his moves Aren't that strong, meaning that he really needs to get coverage in order to hit as many counters as possible. What I'm saying is is that conkledurr is a thinking man's pokemon and as such as a ton of possible and useful movesets, so go ahead and experiment.

I just beat the Elite Four, and am trying to breed some competitive Pokemon. I haven't played a Pokemon game in years, but from what I understand, I need to find someone who has Dittos in their friend safari and move forward from there. Can anyone help me out? What happens when sucker punch and fake out are used on the same turn? If you have 2 pokemon with intimidate, can you start with one and switch out to lower their attack by 2 stages before they are even able to move? Are sleep and confuse inflicted turns still passed when a pokemon has truant? When protect/detect fails, does it reset the counter of the move being used consecutively? In GenV single battles, does defog only clear entry hazards away for the enemy team?

I am now slightly regretting teaching my friend about Scarf Water Spout Kyogre coupled with Swift Swimmers. I did it give him a fighting chance against most of my team members, but he's picked up on battling really quick, and I now realize just how goddamn scary Scarf Kyogre is. There are basically four ways to kill it: Priority, outspeeding it with another Scarfer, outspeeding it with Deoxys-S, or Water Absorb/Dry Skin. I can see why Kyogre was and still is one of the Kings of Ubers; I can't imagine facing it under perma-rain with a team of four Swift Swimmers. Also, after getting bored breeding and waiting from my next Goonleague tournament opponent to be decided, I decided to take a bit of a break from Pokemon and play some Monster Hunter. I ended up stumbling over this crossover picture, which I just had to share.  Savage Deviljho as a Pokemon.

I have a weird question about that emulator randomizer that was going around a while ago. I'm playing a randomized version of FireRed and I put the trainer names and classes on random, but I've been getting some weird trainer classes. Gent, Scribe, Botanist, and Man keep coming up, but I don't recall ever seeing those classes in the games. I'm just a little curious as to where those are coming from, since as far as I can tell, those have never been actual trainer classes.  Also all my Bug Catchers have been replaced with Champions, and most of them have girl names.  All my Hikers are now Gymnasts, too.

Find a Gurdurr for Hammer Arm and get a Medicham and go to the relearner to get Ice Punch.

I don't have access to a Gurdurr, but fortunately it can also get it using the most badass new pokemon this gen. (Pangoro.) I already have a medichan male.  Now all I have to do is proceed with the story to get to the move relearner. Why the hell is everything in Pokemon addictive.

I use the Rotation Battles in LeWow Restaurant with the L.3 EXP O Power on while my lowest level Pokemon holds a Lucky Egg. However, I think there's an alternate way of leveling through the Battle Chateau by fighting one of those trainers that have 3 Audinos.

So, I'm going through the motions of trying to breed out an Aegislash but I'm having trouble trying to get 5IV with 0 in Speed. I have a few 6IV Dittos I brought up from Diamond/Black that I use and a a 3IV Brave Doublade I use as the mother, but so far I've been getting 5IV with all except HP. Would it be easier to selectively breed until I have two Honedge with 5IV in everything but speed first or should I bother trade thread for a Ditto with no Speed?

Unlike before, it gives the entire team half of the experience points from every battle, with the ones actually battling getting the full amount. This more than triples any battle's yields and makes is really easy to rotate your team out.

You're looking to breed 5 31 stats and a 0 in speed, or a 5V with one of the 5 being speed? If the former, it doesn't matter, you're relying on luck for one of the final stats anyway. If the latter, get the ditto.
